Not sure what "everywhere else" has to do with it. The Thai muslims were peace-loving people who integrated well up until the Thai military started prodding and provoking them in response to hysteria about terrorism during the 'first' Iraq. That is truly sad Timothy. But it's not one sided. You also have to understand how southern Thailand Muslims are treated by the Thai militaryWhy don't we just support both sides so they will all like us... isn't that how banks usually profit from wars?US government calls Muslims who simply want non-Muslims out of their territories "insurgents". Gadfahi calls rebels "terrorists". If republicans start attacking White House, US Government will call them terrorists and arrest/kill or whatever to "defend" the country. Dictatorship is not a good thing for people, but does US government really care about people in Libya? Why is it OK for Chinese government to supress democracy movement? Isn't North Korea under dictatorship? People there are dying because no food. How about Saudi Arabia? Their King and his kins have been enjoying so much wealth. Mr. President, there are many issues here in America. Unemployment rate is now ONLY 8.9% but I wonder where jobs are. My friend just lost his house after 2 years of no jobs. He and his wife tried hard but didn't make it.
