The Patriot Act was put in place to protect the US government in times of crisis, just like we have now. The last administration saw it coming and the current one is the same. Americans are being persecuted everyday. The government wants to cheat us out of our Social Security and Medicare. These programs have been in effect all my life and I have paid 15% per year all my life. The govt gave Egypt 150 million dollars just today and for what? We need that money here at home. The government borrowed (stole) billions from Social Security in the past, that's why there is not enough to go around now. We started 2 usless wars in the middle east, no bid contracts, that broke our economy. Now the same jerks want us to do without our Social Security and Medicare? I believe Americans might have a different take on that.

ReplyDeffinition of a Terrorist for the US congress = Anyone who doesn't agree with what the govt does with their moneyI have no problem whatever with being patriotic or with fighting to protect America from forces that wish to take our Rights from us...even if those forces are our elected officials.

I wish that I could say that you guys in Washington had better get it together, or the People will exercise some Constitutional Rights that haven't been used since 1776...(or was that 1861?). I wish that I could say that we are comprised of every skin color imaginable, every known religion and all social classes. I wish that I could say that we're well funded. I wish that I could say that we're fairly well armed. And we're getting madder by the minute. I wish that I could say that if you don't turn things around, the backlash will make the events in Egypt look like a high school prom.

I wish that I could say that, but it might be considered a seditious act...so I won't.
