ReplyIn shariah (muslim) law, rape is not considered a crime, and prosecution is the lookout of the victim and her family. And to convict (if ever), the victim must either produce 3 witnesses or the rapist must admit to it. To make matters worse, if she is a muslim woman, she stands accused of at least two(2) huddad crimes: falsely accusing someone of illicit sexual intercourse; and eliciting sexual favors herself, both of which are punishable by death. Huddad crimes are considered major "crimes against the sovereign."
