This is ridiculous. A 90-day freeze on settlements in exchange for warplanes that will last for years? And the plan doesn't even include a freeze on East Jerusalem settlements? This is one place where I'll agree with the conservatives and say that the Obama administration isn't pushing hard enough diplomatically. The deal is clearly one-sided in Israel's favor and both guarantees a US veto of Palestinian statehood in the UNSC and allows Israel to continue to unilaterally violate Palestinian sovereignty through its settlements in East Jerusalem. Let's hope the veto guarantee only lasts as long as this partial settlement freeze; I'm sick of seeing Israel giving the international community the finger.Israeli settlements are nothing like a settlement you or I would think of. Israeli settlements is a polite term for the forceful theft of land owned by indigenous Palestinians followed by the closing of the roads to the Palestinians who actual own them and desperately need them and followed by the purposeful lowering of the water table so that all the near by farmers lose their only source of livelihood and followed by the closing of hospitals and schools to Palestinians followed by the wanton destruction of life and property and liberty of Palestinians by the new settlers. It actually gets much worse- crimes so bad I can not write abut it. This is all documented facts the Israeli censorship could not entirely block. Do not be the enabler of Israel’s horrendous crimes against fellow human beings.

*Palestinians are forced to carry identification cards at all times when traveling from city to city

*Palestinians must apply for a very difficult-to-obtain permit to travel from city to city.

*Palestinians are forced to stand in separate lines than Jews, so that the Jews are not ‘tainted’ through what they consider ‘contact’ with ‘inferior’ beings

*Palestinians are not allowed to live in Jewish-only housing, even when Palestinians have deeds proving their ownership of this property…

*Palestinians–Muslim and Christian–are not allowed to buy, rent or lease land in 92% of the State of Israel, simply because they are not Jewish

*Israel gives 85% of water resources in Palestine to Israelis and the remaining 15% is divided among all Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, even though the Palestinian population is much larger…

*Israeli sieges have stopped most Palestinians from going to work, going to school
