Way Out of Makar (Temptations) Syaithan
At the end of this discussion we mentioned a few ways to save themselves from the clutches, the temptations and pitfalls syaithan, which is written in the book Madakhilus Syaithon 'Righteous p. 28-29 base, namely
1. Believe in Allah Almighty, and put their trust in Him. He said: "Verily syaithan, there is no power over those who believe, and bertawakkal to his Rabb." (An-Nahl: 99)
2. Syar'i study, from the source and the correct understanding, because with this knowledge, we are guided to the straight path, and able to ward off the many pitfalls syaithan, mounted to ensnare us.
3. Affirming sincerity, in worship to God. Allaah says: "Except the servants of thine, Mukhlis (sincere), among them." (Al-Hijr: 40)
4. Fortify with dhikrullah and isti'adzah (seek refuge) to God. Allah Ta'ala says: "And if ye be overwritten syaithan temptation, then seek refuge in Allah. Allah is Hearing and Knowing." (Al-A'raf: 200)
I hope God protects us from the pitfalls syaithan misleading.
