I strongly object to our President committing our country to a new WAR (and let's face it - we are now at war with Gaddafi's Libya - after the President announced that "Gaddafi must go" and we started bombing his country) WITHOUT ANY CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORIZATION.

Congress - and only Congress - has the power to Declare War under our Constitution. There is no imminent threat to the US that would justify bypassing the Constitution here. The War Powers Act doesn't change anything here since this intervention is not in defense of the US, but in defense of Libyan civilians. (I doubt the War Powers Act is even Constitutional - it hasn't been challenged so we don't really know, but I'd say it is not Constitutional, at least to the extent it would authorize acts of War without a Congressional declaration.)The usa press writes how arabs were dancing when the planes hit the building on 9-11. The truth is , the whole world was dancing. With Obama demanding a leader to step down over an internal up rising, is just inforces the worlds hate for America. Most americans believe the world loves americans, well, because they have never lived out side of america, or had a passport. We are not the rulers of the world, or the police force.
