Is it likely the EU "humanitarian" mission is a cover story for an actual invasion?
Rambobama is looking for any excuse possible to start his ground war.
The EU group comes under fire then calls for the US to land the Marines currently on ships off Libya to "save" them.
The invasion is on. the Marines will need more support. They take over the port. The US lands more troops. We expand the mission. Soon we have occupied Libya.
then we're stuck. The europeans and all the others will back away leaving the US to occupy LIbya for the next 20+ years costing 100+ billions a year(money we have to borrow), and a steady supply of filled body bags ssent back to the US.
Does Obama care? Of course not. He will have gotten Gadhafi just like Bush got Saddam. He does not care how many americans are killed and maimed to make him feel like the savior of Libya.
