The reason that it took so long, is because the Lawyers and the Beaurocrats in the system had to rip off as much money as possible before starting the prosecution case. If what New York Mayor Bloomberg said is true, it would have cost the State over a billion dollar for the prosecution's case.
That is about US$200 million dollars for each one that has to be prosecuted.
How much money are the Lawyers making and is it warranted to be that much costs. No wonder the Country is in such a mess.
