This is nothing more than the Pope's pandering to the zionist elite delivering a stinging betrayal to the Holy Roman Catholic church. Jesus's persecution, trial and final execution have all been maticulously documented and recorded for all time - and now - for this pontif to lay the blame anywhere else but at the feet of the Jews is an abomination.

What's next - will the Jews label Judas as a Muslim Jihadist?OK, I haven't read it, but taking you at your word that this document signed by the Pope said, "Only in the Catholic church is there eternal salvation."

So?

Haven't the ancient Hebrews and the modern Jewish religion insisted for millennia that there is no God besides the God of Abraham--that all the other gods worshiped by the peoples around them are false?
Of course they have! Do not hold the Jewish people somehow above everyone else.

The devout Christian must--should--consider it unfortunate that the Jewish people have rejected a huge part of God's message. Similarly, the very religious Jew MUST find the Christian worship of Jesus Christ to be the most terrible blasphemy imaginable.

One very fashionable "answer" to that is the very progressive-sounding but ultimately absurd notion that, well, all religions have it all right--in their own ways. At the other extreme, there's hating any religion that isn't your own--apparently, this is your own solution.

Then there's the correct answer--recognizing that people's differing beliefs might contradict each other, but they are all sincerely held, and that you should offer the same respect for my own beliefs as you no doubt expect me to hold for yours.
