The Technante meets in a secretive meeting to discuss the plan of action.

"So then, we are agreed?" Ulysses says, his fingers intertwined, elbows on desk, covering his nose and mouth.

The assembly grumbled out a yes for the most part, and authorized Plan Red.

MEANWHILE, DIPLOMACY ABROAD:

The Technate has cut all Pacts with Russia and declares them void, all Russian merchant ships in our dock will be searched and seized.

This comes after a heavy debate in the Assembly of the Commons that Russian resources will undermine our own resource economy and potentially destroy that entire sector. This is unrelated to the Afghan Conflict, as we hold no dog in the fight as of yet. The Imperial India Corps are beginning to be a regular fighting force and are helping build up the colony of ours. Transfer of Powers are in discussion at the moment.

South America offers aid to the Russians who are dealing with the Persian Oil disaster.

In Kuwait, a major Trade Squadron docks in Iraq. The visit was not planned due to untimely circumstances, but that should easily be fixed with the cargo onboard.

Within the trade ships is weapons of all shapes and caliber, from infantry guns to revolver-artillery to ammunition to a few tanks and even some planes. Also on-board are 15,000 soldiers, many of them Officers or High-Ranking officials. The message is clear: South America wishes to modernize the Iraqi Army to serve as a Northern Ally against the Desert Bandit Forces.

General Igor Sanchez will meet with the Iraqi Administration to present a parchment recognizing the government of Iraq as legitimate and free from the Ottoman Empire, as well as an are free of the presence of foreign colonial administration, including our own. The shipment of weapons is also to be discussed as a "Lease-Loan", whereas we do not expect up-front payment, but steady, manageable payments over time. The prices themselves are a bargain, and we give promises to send more if they so choose. Training of the Iraqi Army under our and the Iraqi Military Commands' authority will begin as well.

An Iraqi Embassy is offered in Paragon, capital of the T.E.
