The Tea Party Is Sponsored By Pajamas Media
The Tea Party crusade was started by Pajamas Media, which began in
2005 as an affiliation of 90 of the most influential weblogs on the
Internet. They were linked together as an advertising network, but
the intention was to provide a significant alternative to mainstream
media.
Besides adding to its blog network, through its portal, PJM now
provides exclusive news and opinion 24/7 in text, video and podcast
from correspondents in over forty countries. Pajamas Media also has
its own weekly show on XM satellite radio – PJM Political – and
syndicates its original material like a news agency.

The Founder Of Pajamas Media
The founder is Roger Lichtenberg Simon, an American mystery author,
blogger and screenwriter. Simon is a Hollywood writer who was
nominated for an Academy Award for co-writing the screenplay of the
1989 film Enemies, a Love Story. Among his other screenwriting credits
are Bustin' Loose with Richard Pryor and Scenes from a Mall with Woody
Allen and Bette Midler.
Simon was called in to write a renegade blog, which was suppose to be
the alternative media.

Funded By Venture Capitalists
Pajamas Media completed its first round of venture capital funding
on November 14, 2005; its launch and official rebranding as "Open
Source Media" took place November 16. Launch festivities included a
keynote address by former New York Times journalist Judith Miller.
Now over three years old, Pajamas Media has correspondents in 48
countries and is beginning to syndicate original content in the manner
of a news service, one of the first new media companies to do this. It
has also added a list of PajamasXpress bloggers including historian
Victor Davis Hanson, journalist Ron Rosenbaum, and actor Ron Silver.

A Little Too Much Organization Here
All this amounts to is a grab at the alternative media. When 25,000
people showed up in Jena Mississippi, it wasn't hard to figured it was a
staged event. When 100,000 immigrants protested in Chicago you could
smell the bagels. Hispanics are a little too afraid of the immigration
dept. to show in masses.
