in 1960, and entered Parliament in 1997. She took up Israel's barbaric
treatment of
Palestinians as one of her causes.

western world, its financial grips. I think they've probably got a
grip on our party."

and Stephen Walt.

have made a recommendation with regard to Jenny Tonge to expel
Baroness Jenny Tonge from the party's membership in the House of Lords
following comments she made last week on the power of the "pro-Israel
lobby."

Israel's ambassador Zvi Shtauber told News 24 he welcomed the news
of her sacking.
"I understand it's a matter of free speech, but I expect her to
express some sympathy for the victims of suicide bombers and not
confining herself to confessing understanding for suicide bombers," he
said.
