Sarah Palin's Sister Messy Divorce Case
Palin's sister married a unstable state trooper, which ended in a
disastrous divorce. The trooper Mike Wooten, seems to think he is a
remake of Doc Holliday, and runs his remote stretch of land as his
personal fiefdom.
Wooten has been reprimanded for violating nearly a dozen laws and
departmental policies since December 2001.

Mike 'Bull' Wooten
Wooten is an Alaska State Trooper who is considered a violent
alcoholic. He is under investigation on 11 separate charges, ranging
from drunken driving, domestic violence, assault, and use of
excessive force. He was a steroid abuser.

The Trooper Threatened To Kill The Father
Warren Heath, Palin's father, was going to help his daughter find
and pay for a divorce lawyer. Bull Wooten became incensed and said to
his wife Molly, 'If your father gets in
the way I will kill him. He'll eat a fucking lead bullet. If the
old prick gets an the attorney to help you (Molly), I'll shoot him,'."
Wooten was fondling his trooper gun on his hip in an extremely
intimidating fashion, leaving no doubt he is serious about taking
someone's life who disagrees with him."

speakerphone Wooten arguing with her sister and threatening to kill
their father. Fearful for her family members' lives, Palin said she
drove to her sister's house and watched the argument through a window.

state police. "I heard this death threat, my 16-year-old son heard it

Mike Palin talked to Trooper Wooten and asked him to act
civilly and with maturity during their divorce, for the sake of the

strongly that Wooten is a loose cannon. He's a ticking time bomb, as
others describe him, and I am afraid his actions do not merely reflect
poorly on the State, but his actions may cause someone terrible harm .

action taken. Bull Wooten was not arrested for
threatening patrons of 'His Saloon', and drunken
driving, but a fellow state trooper just drove him home.

to give evidence on Wooten's threats, intimidation, illegal hunting,
