Pedophile Nabbed In Thailand

He Liked Them Young

Canadian Pedophile Caught
A three-year global manhunt for a Canadian schoolteacher suspected of sexually abusing Asian children ended Friday when police raided a house in northeastern Thailand, and arrested Christopher Paul Neil.

Police tracked Neil to the house in Nakhon Ratchasima province that he shared with a Thai transvestite friend whose phone calls were traced by authorities.

Police Pretend To Be Shocked
Col. Paisal Luesomboon,  said Neil, 32, acknowledged being the man they were seeking, but didn't comment on whether he was the person depicted in about 200 Internet photos having sex with a dozen different boys between the ages of 6 and 12.

Living With A Transvestite
They found Neil living with a transvestite, in the province of Chaiyaphum.

Three Years In Paradise
Neil lived in Thailand from 2002 to early 2004, police said. Police were contacted by three youths aged 9, 13 and 14, and that's how they found Neil.

He paid the children each $16 to $32, and it was a profitable internet business.

Jonah Karr
Another New Yorker who was led astray in Thailand's youth market, was arrested last year.
