Twenty Seven US Soldiers Killed On 1/20/2007

Thirteen Dead As Explosion Brings Down A Blackhawk

The Crash Was Near Baqubah

United States Camp Gabriel In Baqubah

A Very Suspicious Incident
If a helicopter loses power it can auto-gyro (glide) to a safe landing. The Blackhawk took off from Camp Gabriel in Baqubah, and there was a sudden explosion. Israelis have a pattern of provocative attacks right before an US offensive. This is the worst helicopter attack in the four years we have been in Iraq.
This preceded a ambush at a meeting of five US troops, where a bomb was pre-placed in the room. Another special squad of five were killed in Anbar. This comes one day before the additional 17,000 troops arrive.

Explosion Brought Down Helicopter
A U.S. Blackhawk helicopter crashed northeast of Baghdad on Saturday, killing all 13 soldiers aboard.

Residents near Baquba, said they saw a helicopter in flames in the air but a military spokeswoman said it was not clear whether the aircraft was shot down.

Marines Ambushed At Security Meeting
Five US soldiers are dead after militia fighters struck provincial headquarters in the Shiite holy city of Karbala. Officials say the attack happened during a meeting on security for an upcoming religious festival. The army won't confirm, but three others were kidnapped and found with their throats slashed.

A Patrol Hit By IEDs
The U.S. military said Saturday that three American soldiers were killed, including a soldier whose patrol was hit by a roadside bomb in Baghdad.

Another Ambush
Four U.S. soldiers and a Marine were killed Saturday during combat in Anbar, the Sunni insurgent stronghold west of Baghdad, the military said.

Twenty Seven Dead In A Single Day
We have to be nuts letting these Israelis wander all over, embedded with our troops, and access to our troop movements. Then we have those 'Zio-Clowns', Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Steny Hoyer, cow-towing to that illiterate Bush.
Dead for the Israeli oil pipeline.
