What Happened In Riga In
1941

The Russians Invade
When the Russians invaded and occupied Riga from June 1940 to
July 1941, the Jewish citizens welcomed them with open arms. The
Jews who lived in Riga for centuries soon became the NKVD's right
arm. Sleeper cells, who laid dormant for years, soon awoke and
quickly turned on life long neighbors.
Anyone with power, wealth or possessions were turned in as anti
communists. There were 35,000 Christians deported to Siberia, and
naturally their positions, wealth, and possessions were claimed by
the local Jews.

The Germans Invade
The Germans captured Riga in July of 1941. The Riga townspeople
suddenly realized what the Russia people went through for the last
twenty years. In this film clip below the Jews are forced out of
their comfy ghettos, and made to bury the dead, and clean up the
rubble from the Russian battle. In the final scene you see the white
Latvians kicking the traitorous Jews in the ass.
