Federal Judge Samuel Kent
Samuel B. Kent, 60, is a judge for the U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of Texas. He was nominated by George H.W. Bush on
August 3, 1990.
Judge Kent is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law, and
practiced with Royston Rayzor in Galveston, Texas, and is a holocaust
survivor.

Judge Preyed On Gentile Woman
Judge Samuel allegedly made unwanted sexual advances toward his
court case manager,
has pleaded innocent to new charges brought by another former
employee.
The new charges — aggravated sexual abuse, abusive sexual contact
and obstruction of
justice — allege Kent tried to force a second court employee
into a sexual act and lied about it to investigators.

'medical facility' where most prisoners are fellow

leaders sentenced for a variety of white-collar offenses.

Obama Allows Judge His Salary
Kent tendered his resignation to President Obama
last month, but the effective date was a year from
now. That means Kent will continue to collect his
$220,000 annual federal salary from jail. Unless he is
impeached he will be paid a pension of $175,000
a year, for the rest of his life.
