Islamic Brotherhood – The Ummah

Islamic Brotherhood (the Ummah) is third pillar of Islam most feared by the enemies of Muslims, within and outside Muslim communities. The other two being Jihad and Shari’ah. According to Holy Qur’an, Islamic Brotherhood is obligatory (Fard) upon every Believer.
It’s reported that during his visit to Damascus (Syria) in the month of Ramazan, one of Muslim in the audience ask Imam Hassan al-Banna - “Murshed, some Muslims pray eight tarawees and some twenty tarawees. Which is right in your opinion?”
The Imam asked the questioner – “Is tarawee a Fard or a Suunah?”
The man replied – “It’s a Sunnah.”
Then the Imam asked the man – “Is unity with Muslim Ummah a Fard or a Sunnah?”
The man replied – “It’s a Fard.”
At that the Imam responded – “Why you like to prefer an act of Sunnah over an act of Fard!!”
Imam Khomeini was also a great believer in Islamic Brotherhood. He is quoted as saying – “The path for the liberation of occpied Palestine go through Riyadh, Cairo, Baghdad, and Aman.” What he meant was that unless the present-day western puupet-regimes are not replaced with mutaqi leadership, which believe in the unity of Muslims – Palestine could never be liberated.
Incidently, David Ben Gurion, the first prime minister of Zionist Israel, is on record for saying – “The current regimes in the neighbouring Arab countries – are our first defense lines against Muslim armies.”
The threats Muslim world is facing for the last several decades – is two-pronged – external and internal. The external threat comes from centuries-old western hatred toward Islam and Muslims. After the dismantling over 150-year-old western colonial rule over almost every Muslim land with the exception of Turkey and Afghanistan – after WW II – the departing colonial powers made sure to leave the political, economical, and military powers in the hands of their brain-washed minority secularist elites – who have been doing West’s dirty work since then. It’s surprising that Pakistan, which holds the largest armed forces (structured on British colonial Army) among the 57 Muslim nation state, could not win a single of the three wars it fought with India over Kashmir. Same happened to the combined Arab armies against Israel Occupation Force (IOF). It was only Hizb’Allah’s rag-tag Mujahideen, who humilited IOF in 2000 and 2006. The political hold of western colonial powers over Arab rulers can be judged by the fact that in the begining of 34-day Zionist entity’s assualt on Lebanese civilian population – the governments of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Joradan blamed Hizb’Allah instead of Zionist entity for starting the war, which resulted in the death of 1,200 Lebanese, mostly civilian men, women and children. Hizb’allah was reported to loose 38-45 of its fighters, while IOF admitted loosing 132 of its soldiers plus tanks, F16s, armed vhicles, gunships, and two naval ships being damaged. However, an independent report published in Israeli media in 2007 – reported IOF loss of 2,100.
The other external threat comes from West’s subtle colonial tools, such as, United Nations and its several agencies, World Bank, IMF, World Trade Organization, and last but not the least, from International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The economic exploitation of Muslim nation-states could be judged by the fact with the exception of Iran, all oil and gas natural resources are controlled by western multinational companies. In addition to that almost every Muslim nation state is in debt to international monetary organizations – topping Turkey at US$178 billion (80 million population) and Pakistan at US$38 billion (population 140 million).
However, the greatest threat to Islamic unity is the sectarian divide, which is being exploited increasingly after 9/11 by the western powers and their agents in the Muslim world. The worst cases are witnessed in Iraq, Lebanon, and Pakistan. Not only the Sunnis are being set against Shias – but even within Sunni communities and to a lesser extent with Shia communities. This evil is aimed at dividing Muslim communities by overshadowing the central unity of beliefs – Tawhid, Risalah, Holy Qur’an, and Life after death – shared by all Muslims, often result in violence, and is among the most dangerous internal perils the Muslim world faces.
