Nasrallah Supports Resistance
Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance, Hizb’Allah, celebrated International Al-Quds Day, on last Friday of Islamic month of Ramazan (September 26) in Sayyed al-Shuhada Hall in Haret Hreik. The function was attended by cabinet ministers, politicians representing different parties, trade union officials, diplomates and religious leaders belonging to Sunni, Shia, Druz, and Christian communities.
Hizb’Allah’s Secretary General, Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah addressed the gathering after the national and Hizb’Allah anthems. Following is English translation of some of the points he raised in his speech:
Allah Almighty warned the Yahud: “So when the second of the warnings came to pass, (We permitted your enemies) to disfigure your faces, and enter your Temple, as they had entered before, and to visit with destruction all that fell into their power (Holy Qur’an 17:7).”
Thank Allah, He aided our generation to winess with the naked eyes, the disfigurement of the Zionists faces, by the Mujahideen and Resistance in Lebanon and Palestine.
Dear brothers and sisters – Thirty years on the declaration made by Imam Khomeini (May Allah Honour his soul) for Al-Quds International Day, and this day is still alive, vibrant, strong, and strong to this day, with the blessed reaffirmation and constant support of his successor, Imam Khameini, who has continued on his path and maintained his probity, and with the commitment, love and faith of the people of our Arab and Islamic world in Al-Quds, in Palestine and in the Palestinian people.
We must consider the occupation of Al-Quds Jerusalem), and the occupation of Muslim and Christian sanctities by a racist Zionist group, as the biggest insult directed at this nation in the last century, which continues to be directed at this nation through the existence and continuation of the occupation.
Among the meanings confirmed by Al-Quds International Day – that Al-Quds and Palestine, from the Sea to the river belongs to Palestinian people, to the Arabs and Muslims, and no one else has the mandate to abandon a grain of soil, a wall or a stone in this Holy Land; because it’s soil is sacred, its stones are sacred, its neighbourhoods, olive trees and everything there – is Holy and sacred.
Israel is a functional entity that performs a mission as part of American-Western colonial project which aims to control our countries and resources, to tear up, subdue, humiliate and colonize. Once we understand this – we can very well comprehend that the liberation of our land and sanctities doesn’t come through pleading to the Americans, to the westerners, to those who created and established Israel (British, Russia, Nazis, the US, etc.), nor to those who employ it to divide our region as part of new Middle East – a project toppled by Lebanese in July 2006 war. The liberation of our land will come through the will and determination of resistance and sacrifices of the people of this region.
Among other things to be emphasized on this day is that Zionist regime is not the enemy of Palestinian people alone or the Lebanese people – but also enemy of Arabs and Muslim Ummah at large.
The Georgian war, which marked the defeat for US-Israel axis, and the serious financial crisis faced by the US today, makes it clear that the world is moving towards a multi-polar system, politically, militarily, financially and economically……
