New York-Presbyterian Hospital Visitor Molests Patients
A 27-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night on charges of molesting a 72-year-old patient,
police sources said.
A nurse came into the victim's room to find Yakov Kramer allegedly
standing over the elderly man's bed at New York-Presbyterian Hospital
Columbia yesterday, sources said.

He Pulled Up My Gown
The patient said, Yakov Kramer pulled up the victim's hospital gown
and and starting fondling him.

A Shocked Nurse Calls The Police
She walked into the room, and the Hasidic head was bobbing at a very
fast pace. The horrified nurse called hospital security, who detained Kramer
until the police arrived, at about 12:15 p.m., sources said.

Yakov's Relatives Are Shocked
Although Kramer is from Spring Valley in Rockland County, his
family, part of the Skver Hasidic sect, still lives in Williamsburg.
Relatives demanded the police return Yakov's shirt, which appears to
have been stained during the encounter.

His Lawyer
Yakov's lawyer, Israel Fine, said his client heard the old man
scream,and was trying to help. Apparently Yakov was confused about
'Mouth to mouth' resuscitation, and instead did mouth to penis
resuscitation,

Kramer is employed by the Ramapo School District where he tutors in
science and math.

Rabbis Defend Yakov
Religious leaders defended Kramer, calling him a brainiac with
a passion for writing about God.
"He is an author of religious books," said
Rabbi Leib Glanz,
executive vice president of United Jewish Care in Williamsburg.
"He is a Torah scholar."
