Palestine in History

Palestine, especially Jerusalem is sacred to all thre Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. However, the Scofield Bible, gives the distorted version of Bible that God promised that land to Israelites. In fact, He promised it to the community of people, which obey God’s commandments as revealed to prophet Abraham. Israelites have a long history of denying those laws – and according to Bible they were cursed by both prophet Moses and prophet Jesus (John 7:1, 8:44, etc.). Later on – Pope issued a Bull – declaring Christians to be the “Chosen People” of God instead of Jews – and therefore, has the right to Palestine. In 638 CE – the Archbishop of Jerusalem, presented city keys to Islam’s second Caliph, Umar bin Khattab – while the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem declared him the “promised Messiah” for hand-over the possession of Temple of Mount – being used as a garbage dump by the Byzantine Christians. In 647 CE, both Jews and Muslim build the present-day Al-Aqsa Mosque, funded by Amir Abdul al-Malik. the first Temple of Mount was built by King Solomon in 960 BC, which was destroyed by Babylonian in 586 BC. It was rebuild by King Herod in 20 BC, and destroyed by Titus in 70 CE.
Historically, Palestine is older than 10,000 year and was inhibited long before the Hebrew tribes invaded and occupied it in 1250 BC.
Rev. Ted Pike, leader of National Prayer Network (NPN) wrote an article – Palestinians- Their History from Begining to End, which is woth reading. I must clarify here that Rev. Ted Pike is no admirer of Islam, but considers Zionism a greater threat to Christianity than Islam.
