Pope Benedict XVI and the ‘Gay Factor’

Pope Benedict XVI in his last Sunday mass told his faithful that they had not seen last of him. He assured them that he was retiring from Papacy, but not from the Vatican.
Orginally, Benedict had claimed that he was retiring due to his old age and bad health. However, there are rumors which contradict his excuse as during his last sermon he did show any sign of fatigue or illness. Some Vatican insiders claim that Church is economically bankrupted, so Benedict decided to get himself out of the debt mess. Others claim that enormous cases of sexual abuses at churches have pushed Benedict out. On the other hand, John Hooper wrote in British daily Guardian that it could have been gay mafia at the vatican which push the Pope out.
How powerful is the ‘gay factor’ – can be judged by the fact that London Mayor Boris Johnson, has refused to run advertisements which promoted that gays can be reoriented through therapy and prayers.
Cardinal Keith O’Brien, the leader of the Church in Scotland and Britain’s most senior Roman Catholic clergyman resigned last week as result of allegations of unkosher behaviour with priests. A fierce opponent of gay marriage, Keith O’Brien has announced that he would not be joining other Cardinals in Rome to select the new Pope.
Britain’s first publically gay rabbi, Rabbi Lionel Blue blasted Cardinal Keith O’Brien for later’s anti-gay ‘fatwas’ in March 2012.
American Rev. Ted Pike, in a 2006 article, titled Judaism and Homosexuality: A Marriage made in Hell had claimed that a great majority of gay movements were established or funded by Jewish groups to destroy Christian moral values.
But in the Talmud, the highest religious, ethical and legal authority for Orthodox Jews, we find a very different, shocking reality: little boys under the age of nine (delectable objects of homosexual lust) are repeatedly described as incapable of “throwing guilt” on the adult who rapes them!
How does the Talmud reach such a perverted conclusion? The Talmud considers in depth the question: “What disqualifies a woman from eligibility to marry a Jewish priest?” The Old Testament says sexual immorality does. Yet the Talmud repeatedly asserts that a grown-up woman can have sex with boys under the age of nine. There is a difference of opinion among the most eminent rabbis about whether this disqualifies her from being the wife of a priest. Yet all agree that such intercourse is not sexual activity, and neither she nor the little boy have done anything wrong.
The precedent of women being encouraged into pederasty creates deep moral reverberations: a little boy is without moral protection. His rape is not even a moral issue. It is consequently not hard to imagine how Jewish homosexuals, already lusting after little boys (chickens, in their vocabulary), could find justification in the Talmud’s rationalization,” wrote Ted Pike.
Rabbi Eric Yoffie, president of the Union For Reformed Judaism had said: “For the first time in history, a major rabbinical body has affirmed the Jewish validity of committed, same-gender relationships”.
Last year, Tunisian-born gay Mayor of Paris Betrand Delanoë, was blasted by the Christian, secularist and communist groups for spending more funds on Jewish projects and other religious groups.
