As long as the US gets oil and other natural resources from the middle east the war will never end.
The only way to end the war and our presence there is when Afghanistan's president tells us we are no longer allowed there. Same with Iraq. It wasn't the military cut spending-or us that changed anything there.Iraq president wanted us out, so we are hopefully leaving Iraq late this year.please get our troop's out of this country, many have tried and the last (russia) country that was there went bankrupt as we soon will be! let's clean up our backyard before we descide someone else's is more important than our own!!!!!!I totally agree with Chris' statement. My son was in Iraq for a year and watched his buddies get blown up by bombs and mortars. He went to the VA and all they wanted to do was give him drugs to mask the issue. He would see five doctors and all five would give him something - his room looked like a pharmacy. Thankfully, he threw all the meds away and is going better
