P.S. Where was the outrage and condemnation when foreign ships were dumping toxic waste ? Or illegally fishing in Somali waters ? Or when they were destroying the fishing boats of Somali fishermen ?Reading these comments, I now know the average education level of yahoo readers is about the 11th grade.

1) It's usually the most cowardly that just says send in the Navy Seals or the Marines without a strategy. What do you know about war? How long have you served? We sent in the big guns in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, El Salvador, Argentina, Afghanistan, and Iraq. How did these skirmishes turn out? Read a book and find out.

2) International powers illegally dump toxic waste in Somali waters. What gives world powers the right to destroy the coastline so the Somali people can't fish and sustain themselves?

Many of the pirates are out for fame, glory, and plunder. Many people, who read primary source information and reports coming out of that region, see the pirates as a wake-up call that Somalia isn't going to be [continually] exploited without a fight.

3) There's worth things then death. We have the death penalty in the United States, does that/has that stopped crime?
