First the voters listen to the lies spread by the rich and by international corporations to make them vote for politicians who are financed by and acting in favor of the rich and the corporations. THen the voters are SO surprised when those politicians do what's best for the rich and the corporations instead of what's best for them. My my my, I'm so surprised the Bush tax cuts for the rich caused huge deficits. I'm so surprised that our politicians voted for tax breaks for oil companies instead of using the money to create renewable green energy that wouldn't be subject to high prices created by Wall Street Speculators and International Oil Companies. I'm so surprised that corporations like Enron weren't regulated and were able to ruin the lives of tens of thousands of people. I'm so surprised that corporations can ship jobs and investments overseas and still get tax breaks. I'm so surprised that CEOs can loot their own corporations through obscene salaries for themselves while they use the money of their corporations to buy more politicians who then try to screw their employees out of social security and affordable health care.
