There is no case for intervention in Libya. My year in Iraq was bad enough that I'd never wish something like that on anyone. If the reasons given had been true, I'd have no complaints. The fact is that the media and politicians love to beat the drums of war because there is very little for them to lose. Most politicians and their kids don't go, and news outlets make money hand over fist covering the fighting. Unless a country is actually threatening to attack us, we don't need to do any more fighting. Our military has been ground down and service personnel are exhausted. Let the world take care of themselves, and we should do the same.
