Return to Mina (before sunrise on 10th Dhul-Hijjah)
Those who stay for Fajr supplicate facing the Qiblah, and should leave
before sunrise to Mina.
On the way to Mina pick up seven pebbles slightly larger than a pea, for
the stoning of the largest pillar.
When the pilgrim reaches Mina he go to the large pillar (jamratul-aqabah),
which is the one nearest to Makkah. This being a accident prone area due
to heavy crowding it is preferable to go, especially for the weak, during
off-peak hours which is at night or a little before sunset.
Throw (Rami) the seven pebbles at the large pillar one after another,
calmly and saying "Allahu Akbar" with each one. Throw the stones
to the proper place, which is within the circular wall, whether or not
they hit the pillar.
It is permissible to do substitute stoning (rami) of the pillars for
pregnant or nursing women, weak, old, children etc. The substitute himself
should be performing the Hajj. He should first throw for himself and then
for the other person(s).
Go to your residence and Slaughter (Qurbani) the sacrificial animal.
One may eat from it and feed the poor. Qurbani can be done on any time
during 10, 11, 12 Dhul-Hijjah. It can either be done oneself or using
a reliable person.
The man shaves his head (preferable) or cuts his hair. The woman cuts
a finger's with from the length of her hair.
The throwing, slaughter and shaving/cutting should be done in order. The
shaving/cutting too should be postponed if sacrifice is postponed.
When the pilgrim has stoned the large pillar (jamratul-aqabah) and shaved
or cut his hair, he is partially released from ihram and can wear his
regular clothes.
He is then free from all the restrictions of ihram except marital intercourse.
Eid-Al-Adh'ha
This is the Day of Sacrifice and also the first day of the blessed Eid
al-Adh-ha, which if one of the only two celebrations in Islam.
Eid al-Adha "Festival of Sacrifice" commemorates the willingness
of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to God.
For Muslims in every part of the earth and for the pilgrims Eid al-Adh-ha
is an especially joyful day wherein they rejoice in Allah's favor to them
and sacrifice their animals, seeking nearness to Him.
The pilgrims begins the takbeer (hail) for Eid after stoning the large
pillar, saying:
ALLahu akbar, ALLahu akbar, ALLahu akbar, ALLahu akbar, laa ilaaha
illaLLa. Allahu akbar, ALLahu akbar, walillaahil-hamd
Stay overnight at Mina.
Tawaf al-Ifadha at Kaaba
Tawaf al-Ifadha is among the pillars of hajj without which Hajj is incomplete.
After stoning the large pillar on Eid morning, the pilgrim can go to Makkah
to do seven circuits of Tawaf al-Ifadha. (Tawaf al-Ifadha can be performed
any time, day or night, from 10 Dhul-Hijjah to the sunset of 12 Dhul-Hijjah.)
One should be under the state of Wudhu for Tawaf al-Ifadha. After that
he does seven trips of sai as in Umrah, but this time it is for the Hajj.
After completing Tawaf al-Ifadha all the restrictions of Ihram including
sexual relations are lifted.
Whenever you finish Tawaf-e-Ziarat during the night, come back to Mina
for stay.
